The Vetting Process

The first step to join Witch City Rope and get access to all our events and resources is to get vetted. Our vetting process has been designed to focus on safety, acceptance and education, which we feel is ground in the strong culture our community brings. The ultimate goals of our vetting process are:

  1. To ensure applicants are aware of the philosophy and core principles of Witch City Rope. This will allow an informed choice whether joining our community is a good fit and sets good expectations for what cultural norms are at WCR events.

  2. To understand where you are at in your rope journey and try to inform you of what we do and don't offer that fits your path.

  3. Understand your risk profile, community needs, attention to safety, and current consent practices to look for possible concerning behaviors and appropriately address them. This helps us understand whether you will be a good fit for our community.

You must be at least 21 years old to attend a Witch City Rope event.
